摘要: This study evaluates the economic consequences of hypothetical foot-and-mouth disease releases from future National Bio and Agro Defense Facility in Manhattan, Kansas. Using an framework that estimates impacts to agricultural firms consumers, quantifies costs non-agricultural activities epidemiologically impacted region, assesses response government, we find distribution be very significant. Furthermore, consumers bear most followed by government regional firms.
