摘要: This study was conducted to evaluate alterations in coagulation parameters dairy cows affected with acute Escherichia coli (E. coli) mastitis and compare those values Staphylococcus aureus (S. ) mastitis. Twenty-four, adult Holstein-Friesian E. 17 S. were studied. Cows had significantly prolonged activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) (P < 0.01), prothrombin (PT) 0.05) decreased platelets numbers. only APTT platelet counts. In the hematology evaluation, elevated hematocrit but so mastitic caused by coli. Both groups of lower leukocyte Only neutrophil count. plasma biochemical creatinine concentrations both cows. Blood urea nitrogen (BUN) concentration Results this indicated that are more likely develop clinical manifestations disseminated intravascular than
