Cancer cell emboli in the pectoral lymphatics of patients with breast cancer.

摘要: In order to investigate the possibility of local recurrence in pectoral muscles patients who undergo modified radical mastectomies, cancer cell involvement lymphatics associated with pectoralis major muscle was studied 39 underwent a standard mastectomy for Stage I-III breast cancer. Cancer emboli were found transpectoral 2 (2/39 = 5.1 per cent) and fascial 6 (6/39 15.4 cent). Two lymphatic from group 14 intramammary tumor low degree (ly 1). The other either fascia or 11 moderate 2). There significant relationship between (Chi square test: (p less than 0.05). results this study therefore indicate that are an important risk factor mastectomy.
