摘要: Abstract Sideritis congesta, an endemic plant to Turkey, is extensively consumed as energizing herbal tea and used a remedy in folk medicine. This study was designed comparatively evaluate the phytochemical composition antioxidant potentials of different extracts (methanol, infusion) fractions (chloroform, ethyl acetate, remaining water) S. congesta. Antioxidant samples were evaluated by DPPH radical scavenging, FRAP, CUPRAC, total capacity tests. Total phenolic, phenolic acid, flavonoid contents also spectrophotometrically. Moreover, presence twenty-two metabolites affirmed using LC-MS/MS MRM scan mode then quantification verbascoside, martynoside, leucoseptoside A performed HPTLC densitometry. EtOAc fraction contained highest content activity, well verbascoside martynoside followed R-H2O fraction. Phytochemical studies on fraction, yielded seven compounds, including phenylethanoid glycoside, (1), two flavonoids, stachyspinoside (2), isoscutellarein 7-O-(6‴-O-acetyl)-β-allopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-β-glucopyranoside (3), acid chlorogenic (4), iridoid glycoside ajugoside (5), monoterpenoid glucoside mixture betulalbuside (6) 1-hydroxylinaloyl 6-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (7). The molecular structures isolated compounds determined NMR MS experiments. first polar constituent congesta report isolation 2, 6 7 from genus L.
