摘要: Novel results elucidating the magnitude, binocularity and retinotopicity of aftereffects visual texture density adaptation are reported as is a new contingent aftereffect which suggests that perception quite malleable. Texture upon orientation, color temporal sequence discussed. A fourth effect demonstrated in auditory contingencies shown to produce different kind distortion. The merits limitations error-correction classical conditioning theories reviewed. It argued third theory emphasizes coding efficiency informational considerations close attention. proposed malleability registration information can be understood part functional adaptability perception.
