摘要: Particle-size information is a measure of the quality processed food products. In this investigation, study has been made for particle-size analysis (PSA) blanched and unblanched samples tomato powder. The outcome indicates that standard percentile reading D (v, 0.5), 0.1) 0.9) tomato-powder are 260.30, 308.78 100.49μm 108.57, 609.24 521.76μm, respectively. Volume mean diameter [D 4,3] higher sample (335.87 μm) compared with powder (288.41 μm). Surface area 3,2] also (200.51 than (158.71 Furthermore, specific surface (Aw) (0.0378 m 2 /g) as (0.0299 /g). blanching treatment slightly affects grinding/milling quality/size-reduction characteristics results in uniform particle size, which depicted by narrow range distribution samples. Blanched finer sizes shows stability during settlement, it very important much desirable parameter its use processing another product preparation.
