Facility Layout Redesign with Static Facility Layout Planning (SFLP) and Dynamic Facility Layout Planning (DFLP) at Convection and Computer Embroidery Industry

摘要: UD. XYZ is a private company engaged in the convection and computer embroidery industry. This uses raw materials form of fabrics to make various kinds products such as t-shirts, shirts, training pants, jackets, emblems types clothing. Problems that are being faced by this cross-movement, low efficiency, layout facilities do not consider consumer demand for product so it can affect flow material increase handling costs. Based on these problems, research was conducted redesign with Static Facility Layout Planning (SFLP) Dynamic (DFLP). The method used redesigning software CRAFT (Computerized Relative Allocation Techniques). After facility SFLP, costs amounted IDR 393,510.01 or cost reduction 7.41% while DFLP had total amounting 345,685.11 18.66%. results study show proposed chosen DFLP.
