摘要: Two numerical models for studying the dynamics of formation and rise single bubbles in high-viscosity ionic liquids were implemented using level-set method. The describe two stages bubble dynamics: at inlet nozzle displacement across column. experimentally validated through a laboratory-scale column water-glycerol mixtures imidazolium-type liquids. consistent with experimental tests Reynolds numbers < 5. Outside this range, tend to underestimate terminal velocity, which can be explained by effect high velocity pressure gradients close gasliquid interface. also predicted fields near surface before after detachment.
