DOA, power and polarization angle estimation using sparse signal reconstruction with a COLD array

摘要: Abstract Existing polarized source localization methods mostly rely on subspace technique. In this paper, a very different framework, namely sparse signal reconstruction, is extended to estimate direction-of-arrival (DOA), power and polarization angle parameters using cocentered orthogonal loop dipole (COLD) array. The key points of the proposed algorithm can be summarized as three aspects: (i) paper first constructs special second-order statistics vector by sum-average arithmetic, which only function DOA parameters; (ii) then another vectors, are (iii) exploits Zhang penalty enforce sparsity, lead almost unbiased index amplitude estimation. This also demonstrates how distinguish two sources their characteristics. Simulation results validate effectiveness superiority algorithm.
