摘要: Cyclic components of the ‘aliphatic’ hydrocarbon mixtures extracted from Puget Sound sediment cores include a suite C19 and C20 diterpenoid hydrocarbons which fichtelite. sandaracopimaradiene, isopimaradiene have been identified. Although apparently also derived vascular plants, these relative abundances distinctly different co-existing plant wax n-alkane suite. Five C27, C28 C29 diasteranes four C29, C30 C31 17α(H), 21β(H) hopanes occur in relatively constant proportion as highly weathered fossil assemblage. These chromatographically resolved cycloalkanes. along with strongly covarying unresolved complex mixture, introduced to sediments adjacent urban centres at increasing levels over last 100 yr absence any major oil spill. Naturally-occurring triterpenoid hydrocarbons, including hop-22(29)-ene (diploptene), are present. A new group polyenes has detected contains compounds structurally related bicyclic C25 diene acyclic multibranched described previous paper (Barrick et al., 1980).
