London: Taylor Francis] model depicts as a key component goal attainment process. Despite this model's popularity, few studies have examined its importance maintenance exercise. transtheoretical change has been used instead. two models, nonetheless, share strikingly similar components with exception resourcefulness. Design/Methods Our 265 participants, ranging from wanting to be active being regular exercisers, completed instruments assessing resourcefulness, stage for exercise, self-efficacy, reasons exercising processes Results As predicted, participants exercise were on average more highly resourceful than contemplation, preparation action stages change. Low contemplation least likely employing strategies help facilitate activity. Conclusion Implications promoters are discussed.
