摘要: The main source of the heat generation during Friction Stir Welding (FSW) is friction force between tool and workpiece plastic deformation. geometry including pin shoulder highly affects force. In this study, effects different profiles with rotational traversing speed are evaluated in order to obtain optimum profile using tensile strength. Three welding speeds applied threaded cylindrical, conical, stepped conical square profiles. Thermocouples K type have been embedded record temperature at advancing retreating side. Moreover, test microstructure analysis performed study microstructure. results experimental process design experiments correlated well. better joint produced cylindrical rotation 1600 rpm 40 mm/min.
