摘要: A student is said to have committed a careless error when student's answer wrong despite the fact that he or she knows (Clements, 1982). In this paper, educational data mining techniques are used analyze log files produced by cognitive tutor for Scatterplots derive model and detector carelessness. Bayesian Knowledge Tracing its variant, Contextual-Slip-and-Guess Estimation, predict carelessness behavior in Scatterplot Tutor. The study examines as well robustness of major difference tutor's interface, namely presence absence an embodied conversational agent, from different school setting (USA versus Philippines).
