摘要: Grafting method, through microwave radiation technique is very effective in terms of time consumption, cost effectiveness and environmental friendliness. Via this delignified Grewia optiva identified as a waste biomass, was graft copolymerized with methylmethacrylate (MMA) an principal monomer binary mixture ethyl methacrylate (EMA) acrylate (EA) under irradiation (MWR) using ascorbic acid/H2O2 initiator system. The concentration the comonomer optimized to maximize yield respect primary monomer. Maximum (86.32%) found for dGo-poly(MMA-co-EA) compared other synthesized copolymer. experimental results inferred that optimal concentrations comonomers observed be 3.19 mol/L×10-1 EMA 2.76 EA. Delignified fibre were subjected evaluation physicochemical properties such swelling behaviour chemical resistance. copolymers characterized Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) X-ray diffraction techniques. Thermal stability more copolymers. Although grafting decrease percentage crystallinity index among but there significant increase their acid/base thermal resistance properties. grafted samples have been explored adsorption hazardous methylene dye from aqueous
