摘要: The physical and chemical characteristics of ma- terial surfaces are thought to play important roles in bioma- terial-mediated tissue responses. To understand the impor- tance discrete biomaterial modifying host responses, we constructed bearing different functional groups using radio frequency glow discharge plasma polymerization. Surfaces evaluated included those having high concentrations ˛OH, ˛NH2, ˛CF3, siloxyl groups. These polyethylene terephthalate controls were used assess importance particular physicochemical surface:pro- tein:cell interactions both vitro vivo. results obtained show that surface functionalities do significantly affect adsorption ''denaturation'' adsorbed fibrinogen (which is an mediator inflammatory responses implants). In addition, these sur- faces provoke degrees acute re- sponses.
