摘要: Abstract Previous research on lacustrine stromatolites from Etosha Pan in Namibia obtained ages carbonate close to or beyond the limits of radiocarbon dating. These suggested that basin was likely not subject extensive flooding during last ca. 40 ka. This study shows AMS for a stromatolite Poacher’s Point are 15–21 ka older than organic material structure. Calibrated range 30 40 ka and 3–19 ka residue. The new ages, together with petrographic isotopic data stromatolite, have provided important information past including evidence prolonged conditions Holocene Climatic Optimum.
