摘要: The detection of sudden contamination pulses in surface waters has gained increasing importance over the past few years with view to drinking water production and protection aquatic life communities. An efficient monitoring system for practical applications cannot be based alone on physico-chemical analyses because, one hand, suitable analytical methods are not always available and, other, continuous all relevant parameters hardly practicable reasons time economy (Juhnke Besch, 1971; van Hoof, 1980; Nusch, 1993). Moreover, measured concentrations do provide any information about biological availability detected substance. Neither does know which effects compound organisms combination other substances they may exposed simultaneously. Estimates unnatural compounds occur River Rhine range an order magnitude between 30,000 50,000 (Botterweg, 1988), only 150 200 covered by routine (Botterweg et al., 1989). Furthermore, interpretation results chemical reference toxicity data is problematic, since that were under standardized laboratory conditions field conditions, because theyleave influence matrix body out account. For instance, humic acids, ubiquitously, alter effectivity contaminants some orders (Mayr, 1992).
