摘要: In previous studies, we have developed and tested observable-based parameterizations (OBP) of time-harmonic wavefield scattering by periodic or aperiodic finite arrays planar strip filament scatterers. The resulting algorithm is based on truncated Floquet modes Floquet-modulated edge diffractions due to the truncations array. corresponding robust wave processes link features (observables) in data with geometrical model configuration such a manner as be useful for subsequent application target classification identification. present study extends these investigations array filamentary scatterers located surface an infinitely extended dielectric slab, thereby parameterizing (Floquet mode)-(leaky mode) interaction classifier more complicated phenomenology this composite configuration. outcome OBP two separate constituents that can interpreted, respectively, slab-modified truncated-Floquet-induced excitation slab-guided leaky waves. This new problem validated comparison reference solutions generated numerically, its relevance wave-oriented processing demonstrated companion paper.
