Software analytics to software practice: a systematic literature review

摘要: Software Analytics (SA) is a new branch of big data analytics that has recently emerged (2011). What distinguishes SA from direct software analysis it links mined many different artifacts to obtain valuable insights. These insights are useful for the decision-making process throughout phases lifecycle. Since currently hot and promising topic, we have conducted systematic literature review, presented in this paper, identify gaps knowledge open research areas SA. Because researchers still confused about true potential SA, had filter out available papers most SA-relevant work our review. This filtration yielded 19 studies 135. We based review on four main factors: which practitioners targets, domains covered by extracted whether these linked or not. The results shown much only serves needs developers. Also, uses one artifact which, turn, means fewer between shows embryonic leaving plenty room future field.
