摘要: "Zhangzhung" is the old name of Western Tibet, annexed by Tibetan kingdom as early 645 A.D, and traditionally regarded sacred country whose language was vehicle for texts which serve basis Bon religion. These religious were translated into from Zhangzhung at about same time Buddhist Indian languages, in 6th to 9th centuries A.D. (Haarh 1968:7; Kvaerne 1971).
