摘要: A recent study suggests that reafferent hand-related visual information utilizes a privileged, attention-independent processing channel for motor control. This process was termed visuomotor binding to reflect its proposed function: linking reafferences the corresponding control centers. Here, we ask whether advantage of over exafferent is specific feature stream or improved also benefits perceptual stream. Human participants performed bimanual reaching task in cluttered display, and one hand cursors could be displaced laterally during movement. We measured rapid feedback responses system as well matched judgments which cursor displaced. Perceptual were either made by watching scene without moving simultaneously tasks, such profit from specialized latter case. Our results demonstrate heavily environment when based on information. Even this case, however, filtering capability suffered more increasing complexity than These findings suggest partly shared segregated vision versus perception.
