摘要: Different mechanisms (cooling, drying, and ageing) lead to the formation of crack patterns on surface some materials that are very difficult describe in detail. We propose a model based coupled criterion using two necessary conditions for nucleation cracks: an energy condition stress condition. This is applied simple example: plate fixed rigid substrate cooled down its top face. During slow cooling, it highlights ability forming first lattice cracks subdivision thereof. It also shows that, rapid cooling (quenching), higher temperature drop, tighter network.
