摘要: It has been found that the cross-coupling reaction of salicylaldehydes with aryl iodides smoothly proceeds by using a catalyst system PdCl2/LiCl in presence Na2CO3 as base to give corresponding 2-aroylphenols good yields, which appears involve cleavage aldehyde C–H bond.
