摘要: There is a broad consensus in literature that private households are significant contributors to the total amount of food waste EU. Thus, any strategy meaningfully combat wastage must put end consumer center prevention activities. This requires deeper insights into people’s motivations discard still edible and knowledge about potential barriers reduce wasting. paper reports on results an online survey among two European research centers Italy (JRC/Ispra) Germany (KIT/Karlsruhe). The focus was households’ behaviors (shopping, eating, preparation habits) its influence generation waste. Furthermore, reasons for disposal as well measures technologies most needed prevent were discussed. analyzed, especially with regard questions: (1) Are there considerable differences between Ispra Karlsruhe?
