摘要: The fire propagation and strength performance of kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus) core particle board treated with three different commercialized retardants were studied using ten percent concentration retardants. test was evaluated index (I), which indicates the heat release tested boards. Physical mechanical properties such as water absorption, thickness swelling, Modulus Rupture (MOR), Elasticity (MOE) Internal Bond (IB) untreated boards also studied. study showed that diammonium phosphate (DAP) excellent in reducing followed by monoammonium (MAP) BP® [mixture 27-33% boric acid, 67-73% guanylurea 0.0-4.2% phosphoric acid]. DAP MAP able to delay maximum early about 15 16 min 18 20 min, respectively compared only 10 after ignition. MAP-treated started 5 ignition, but BP®-treated from beginning test. Boards found comply standard ratings for swelling absorption rating MOR be best other MOE IB. However, complied
