摘要: Background: We hypothesized that the asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) metabolism in end-stage renal disease may be linked to rate of protein turnover and vast pool amino acids. In order determine a correlation between plasma levels ADMA catabolic rate, we measured as well nutritional markers such normalized (nPCR) patients with newly initiated continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). Methods: Twenty-four were recruited for this study. All on standard CAPD protocol, followed at least 1 year. Blood samples collected baseline before initiation dialysis, every 6 months The blood parameters studied included serum albumin, total cholesterol, glucose, urea nitrogen, creatinine ADMA. Peritoneal equilibrium test measurements weekly Kt/Vurea nPCR performed within 4 weeks sampling. Results: change over 1 year was positively correlated haemoglobin (r = 0.592, P = 0.002) during same period (r = 0.508, P = 0.026). Conclusion: findings our study suggest might influence after CAPD.
