摘要: The retinoids—natural and synthetic derivatives of vitamin A—play a role in cancer therapy prevention. Their chemoprevention has been highlighted through the results clinical epidemiological studies conjunction with basic research on retinoid mechanisms action, advances genomic information, novel organic synthesis analogs, availability reliable model systems. This chapter focuses recent trials, reviews current understanding molecular mechanism discusses vitro models used to study chemoprevention, summarizes information target genes. An convergence scientific field should lead improved strategies use these pharmacological agents or chemoprevention.
