摘要: Psychiatry is a medical specialty that has made only minimal use of modern technology. Fundamentally humanistic discipline, psychiatry emphasized intuitive deductions rather than objective and quantifiable information. No matter what his theoretical orientation, the psychiatrist relied heavily on data obtained directly from patients, viewed with suspicion anything might impinge delicate balance “caring relationship.”
