摘要: 1. Social class and racial differences in human pair-bonding heterosexual behavior patterns are considered an evolutionary perspective. The expected unpredictability of one's future income stream should be important parameter influencing these variables, according to theoretical considerations. 2. The literature is reviewed relevant the prediction that those facing more predictable streams have a stronger marital pair bond premarital sexual activities likely lead strong bond, all other things being equal. 3. It shown with high education or occupational status do streams, their exhibit predicted consequences fact. A much smaller number studies comparing different races' also consistent theory. In extremely few cases permit it, it found correlate predictability determining dependent variables than either race class, as expected. 4. Alternative explanations data briefly examined wanting, especially respect explaining individuals whose parental differs from own. Further research suggested.
