摘要: Zr/Al bulk getter pumps are presently being considered for use in the Tokamak Fusion Test Reactor (TFTR) to reduce impurities and limit recycling of hydrogenic species. It is necessary that these not be adversely affected by hydrogen glow discharge cleaning (GDC) which planned as part routine TFTR vessel wall conditioning. The GDC procedure involves a dc with 400 V bias voltage. total fluence ions given surfaces during typical conditioning period 1018 cm−2. We have investigated effects runs on getter‐pump module containing 25 g mounted 100 liter test stand. Pumping speed, capacity, regeneration characteristics been studied after various exposures GDC.
