Along this tectonic structure different occurrences CO2-rich are found: Chaves hot (67 °C) and also several cold (16.1 waters. The δ 2 H 18 O values similar those local meteoric chemical composition both mineral suggests that water-rock reactions mainly controlled by amount dissolved CO2 (g) rather than water temperature. Stable carbon isotope data indicate an external inorganic origin for gas. 13 CCO2 ranging between −7.2‰ −5.1‰ consistent with two-component
