摘要: Laser and hybrid laser-arc welding are after two decades of intensive work now well-established processes in the structural steels as well other materials. Many results have been reported over years many advantages comparison with traditional obtained. Very thick part laser using penetration depth excess approximately 12 mm steel does however continue to be a serious challenge. This is partly due limitations achievable because function power shows very non-linear behaviour, large molten volume that must controlled. Although fibre- disc-lasers today being developed high powers, CO2-lasers sources still dominating larger welding. In present investigation potential CO2-laser/MAG plate investigated. Welds thickness presented together achieved mechanical properties e.g. hardness, toughness fatigue. The investigations were made grades S235, S355 S690QL.
