摘要: Abstract. Heinrich event 4 (H4) is well documented in the North Atlantic Ocean as a cooling that occurred between 39 and 40 Ka. Deep-sea cores around Iberian Peninsula coastline have been analysed to characterize H4 event, but there are no data on terrestrial response this event. Here we present for first time an analysis of proxies characterizing using small-vertebrate assemblage (comprising small mammals, squamates amphibians) from Terrassa Riera dels Canyars, archaeo-palaeontological deposit located seaboard northeastern Peninsula. This shows characterized Iberia by harsher drier conditions than today. Our results were compared with other such pollen, charcoal, phytolith, avifauna large-mammal available site, general fluctuations sites where previous subsequent events (H5 H3) detected Mediterranean regions We conclude follow same patterns climatic environmental deep-sea at margins.
