摘要: Criticisms of the globalization literature are generally twofold: studies lack empirical evidence (Enders, 2004; Yang, 2002); little has been brought to bear on theories Vidovich, 2002; 2003). Recent scholarship urged moving beyond conceptualizing as a top–down and homogenizing imposition view that stresses active dynamics occurring between global, national, local policy processes (Marginson & Rhoades, 2004). My goals for this chapter address two criticisms by first presenting study, generating evidence, Chinese universities, then using insights gained from it comment critique three main camps thought: hyperglobalizers, skeptics, transformationalists (Held, McGrew, Goldblatt, Perraton, 1999).
