摘要: Citrus is the second important fruit crop in China; long history of citriculture and richness germplasm has benefited genetics breeding research this country. Today, there are 1000 accessions or so that have been preserved ex situ National Germplasm Repository 101 calli citrus vitro maintained laboratory Huazhong Agriculture University. Selections seedless early- late-ripening varieties two goals at present China. Using bud sport seedling selection, least 40 strains with less seeds were obtained past 20 years. Furthermore, China made some progress innovation by biotechnology. Until now, about interspecific intergeneric somatic hybrid combinations obtained; 244 triploids 10 tetraploids gained cross hybridization, plantlets from culture aborted ovules beneath chimeric part elite traits greenhouse field, which highlights hope for cultivar selection future.
