摘要: Abstract The glucocorticoid dexamethasone (DEX), when used as a growth promoter, cause morphological and functional alterations in cattle lymphoid organs cells. In the present experiment, transcriptional effects of an illicit DEX protocol upon six target genes were investigated neutrophils (NEU) lymphocytes (LFC). Blood samples taken before ( T 0 ) 2, 3, 10, 19, 31 43 days from beginning administration 1 – 6 ). Leukocytes counted cells isolated by gradient centrifugation; then, glutathione peroxidase 3 (GPX1 GPX3), receptor alpha (GRα), l-selectin, nuclear factor κB, subunit p65 (NFκB) tumor necrosis (TNFα) mRNA amounts measured through quantitative Real Time RT-PCR approach. A significant change vs controls NEU/LFC ratio was noticed forward. Compared to , significantly increased variable extent all candidate gene mRNAs abundances NEU; contrast, only GRα GPX1 up-regulated LFC. Present results suggest that affects transcription immune cells, might be considered promising surrogate tissue for screening abuse farming.
