摘要: Objectives To measure the reliability of Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) in institutionalized elderly people. Design 12 day interobserver study. Participants and setting All subjects admitted to two long term geriatric units Mataro (Barcelona, Spain) over 4 months during 1996 (n=67). Measurements each center, different trained nurses independently administered MNA on separate occasions. Results Mean (standard deviation) scores for assessments were 20.8 (5.4) 21.3 (4.6) respectively. Internal consistency, estimated by Cronbach's Alpha, 0.83 0.74 first second assessment Test-retest reliability, according intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), was 0.89 total score higher than its continuous items. According Kappa index, test-retest stratified substantial (0.78); 18 ordinal or nominal items it 'almost perfect' 'substantial' items, 5 'moderate' 'fair' I item 'slight'. Subjective health evaluation, number glasses liquids per day, brachial circumference (this former with an ICC=0.91) lowest indices. Conclusion The test has good levels internal consistency reproducibility. Some improvements can still be introduced refining categorization content some low reliability.
