摘要: This paper considers the inversion of experimental field data collected with light receiving systems designed to meet operational requirements. Such requirements include system deployment in free drifting configurations and a limited number acoustic receivers. A well-known consequence reduced spatial coverage is poor sampling vertical structure field, leading severe ill-conditioning inverse problem model cost function massive sidelobe having many local extrema. causes difficulties meta-heuristic global search methods, such as genetic algorithms, converge true parameters. In order cope this difficulty, broadband high-resolution processors are proposed for their ability significantly attenuate sidelobes, contribution improving convergence. comparative study on simulated shows that methods did not outperform conventional Bartlett processor pinpointing environmental parameter when using exhaustive search. However, technique applied exploring large multidimensional space, clearly improved convergence, therefore reducing inherent uncertainty final estimate. These findings supported by results obtained during Maritime Rapid Environmental Assessment 2003 sea trial.
