摘要: Abstract Dissolved Cu and Zn measurements were made on water samples collected in the Strait of Georgia off mouth Fraser River between May 1973 1974. Large increases concentration both metals observed spring early summer, period maximum sediment discharge from river. These increases, which are not attributable to dissolved found river water, evidently caused by desorptive exchange reactions that occur when mixes with seawater. Such a mechanism is consistent results experimental desorption metal distribution patterns strait.
