摘要: ABSTRACT A thermodynamic equilibrium model was used to investigate the response of aerosol NO3 changes in concentrations HNO3, NH3, and H2SO4. Over a range temperatures relative humidities (RHs), two parameters provided sufficient information for indicating qualitative NO3. The first excess NH4 + plus gas-phase NH3 over sum particulate NO3, SO4 2- concentrations. second ratio total Computation these quantities from ambient measurements provides means rapidly analyze large numbers samples identify cases which inorganic formation is limited by availability NH3. Example calculations are presented using data three field studies. predictions indicator variables compared.
