摘要: This letter presents a low-cost, high-gain, and high-efficiency 4 × circular patch array antenna for gigabyte point-to-point wireless services at E-band (81-86 GHz). The structure consists of two layers. feed network is placed the bottom layer, while patches are on top layer. To increase efficiency array, substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) used to through longitudinal slots etched metallic surface. Low-cost printed circuit board (PCB) process fabricate prototype. Simulated measured bandwidths 7.2%, which covers desired frequency range 81-86 GHz. Measured gain 18.5 dBi, almost constant within bandwidth. radiation 90.3% obtained.
