摘要: We investigated the molecular mechanism by which cells recognize and respond to physical forces in their local environment. Using a model system, study wild type mouse F9 embryonic carcinoma cells, we examined how these sense mechanical stresses translate them into biochemical responses through cell surface receptor integrin via focal adhesion complex (FAC). Based on studies that show many signal transducing molecules are immobilized cytoskeleton at site of binding within complex, found time-dependent increase kinase (pp125FAK) phosphorylation possibly due protein C (PKC) activation as well A (PKA) activity upon adhesion/spreading. These provide some insight intracellular mechano-chemical signaling.
