摘要: Despite international agreements and national laws, marriage of girls <18 years age is common worldwide affects millions. Child a human rights violation that prevents from obtaining an education, enjoying optimal health, bonding with others their own age, maturing, ultimately choosing life partners. driven by poverty has many effects on girls' health: increased risk for sexually transmitted diseases, cervical cancer, malaria, death during childbirth, obstetric fistulas. Girls' offspring are at premature birth as neonates, infants, or children. To stop child marriage, policies programs must educate communities, raise awareness, engage local religious leaders, involve parents, empower through education employment.
