摘要: Radiological image quality can be objectively quantified by the statistical decision theory. This theory is commonly applied with noise of imaging system alone (quantum, screen and film noises) whereas actual present on 'anatomical noise' (sum anatomical texture). texture should play a role in detection task. paper compares these two kinds noises performing 2AFC experiments computing area under ROC-curve.
