摘要: The plant hormone ethylene is perceived by a five-member family of receptors in Arabidopsis thaliana. function conjunction with the Raf-like kinase CTR1 to negatively regulate signal transduction. interacts multiple members receptor based on co-purification analysis, interacting more strongly containing receiver domain. Levels membrane-associated vary response ethylene, doing so post-transcriptional manner that correlates ethylene-mediated changes levels ERS1, ERS2, EIN4, and ETR2. Interactions between ETR1 protect from ethylene-induced turnover. Kinetic dose-response analyses support model which two opposing factors control receptor/CTR1 complexes. Ethylene stimulates production new complexes largely through transcriptional induction receptors. However, also induces turnover receptors, such decrease at higher concentrations. Implications this for signaling are discussed.
