摘要: This study employed a hormone bioassay to characterize the eicosanoids involved in zebrafish ovulation and spawning, particular prostaglandin (PG) products of cyclooxygenase (COX) metabolism leukotriene (LT) lipoxygenase (LOX) metabolism. Exposure teleost progestogen 17α, 20β-dihydroxy-4-pregnen-3-one (17,20βP) induced ovulation, but not solitary females both spawning male-female pairs. Transcription eicosanoid-synthesizing enzymes cytosolic phospholipase A2 (cPLA(2)) COX-2 increased LTC(4) synthase decreased peri-ovulatory ovaries 17,20βP-exposed fish. Ovarian PGF(2α) levels post-spawning fish, there was no difference LTB(4) or LTC(4). Pre-exposure cPLA(2) LOX inhibitors reduced 17,20βP-induced rates, while COX inhibitor had effect on spawning. Collectively, these findings suggest that eicosanoids, metabolites, mediate zebrafish. metabolites also appear be their role remains undefined.
