摘要: Whether or not mannitol can prevent infarctions in ischemic brain tissues was investigated utilizing the thalamic infarction model dogs. Twenty dogs were divided into equal control and treatment groups. Temporary 4 vessel clipping for 60 minutes adopted as standard procedure both The only difference between groups administration of 2 g/kg before arterial occlusion. In controls, 6 10 showed verified by histological changes at seventh post-ischemic day. group 1 dog infarction. is statistically significant.
