摘要: This article describes a numerical model that was developed for the analysis of composite timber–concrete beams. presents simplified methodology determining effective bending stiffness structure. It is based on previous work done usually referred to in some non-normative literature by γ-method. The implemented assumes simplifications, as instance, linear elastic behavior all components, constant connection and sinusoidal loading. For comparison purposes, benefits from an experimental program which full-scale beams were tested connections shear. FE has shown ability overcome simplifications Eurocode, namely variation shear force along beam axis. capable detecting quantifying influence non-linear Different parameters are analyzed and, ductility could be more important than maximum strength, interesting result. By comparing theoretical predictions with test results, it clear used this very method when compared usual design models, such Annex B Eurocode 5 (EN 1995-1-1). ultimate load structure described approach proved give good predictions.
