摘要: Abstract Phosphors are luminescent materials that widely used in the lighting and displays of today's world. A reduction-atmosphere is commonly to synthesize efficient broadband phosphors activated by divalent rare earth ions. In this work, we first report unusual self-reduction Yb 3+ 2+ air Na 2 CaGe O 6 (NCGO), which shows red persistent luminescence (PersL). The effect revealed be associated with appropriate structure NCGO. On basis investigations, summarize basic structural conditions mechanisms effect. This important finding will enlighten us a new approach for designing germanate PersL phosphors. addition, properties NCGO:Yb also investigated.
