摘要: The possibility that power-to-power (theta-beta) frequency coupling increases during development was analyzed. Three minutes of spontaneous EEG in an open eyes condition were recorded a sample 160 subjects ranging from 6 to 26 years old. Theta (4-7 Hz) and beta band (15-20 Hz) power calculated trial-by-trial basis. Inter-electrode correlations (IPC) computed each subject as the correlation between two bands electrodes. An increase theta-beta IPC with age obtained. IPCs higher when theta seeded posterior regions than anterior or central regions. Moreover, significant individual calculated, making it possible draw versus maps order capture topography. found left hemisphere compared right hemisphere. There no differences inter-hemispheric intra-hemispheric maturation spatial patterns. power-to-power-frequency occurs development, suggesting functional connectivity age. Frequency rhythms would be one mechanisms facilitating integration long distance networks development.
